Tripoli International Trade Fair 2012 (20 - 24 June 2012)

Overview

Held under the auspices and support of the Lebanese Ministry of Economy and Trade, Prospower organizes the Tripoli International Trade Fair TITF 2012, which is a multi-sector, multinational event to be held at Rachid Karami International Fairgrounds - Tripoli in September 2011.

The show aims to provide regional and international multi-sector industry professionals, with an ideal B2B platform to promote their services, products and offerings.

With the regional growth in almost all industries and especially in the incentive travel and tourism industries, Lebanon remains the natural gateway for the region's and international meetings industry, and tourism players. Both regional and international players will have access to a long awaited for Levant and MENA region event.

Regional and international business travel is witnessing high growth rates in parallel to the growth in regional and local investments and business activities. Fueled by a growing appetite of multinational companies to have a permanent presence in the fast growing MENA region, business oriented travels and events are further contributing to the growth of the industry mainly in Lebanon which is considered the Switzerland of the East.

RACHID KARAMI INTERNATIONAL FAIRGROUNDS, Tripoli - Lebanon

RKIF is strategically located at the main entrance of Tripoli city coming from Beirut. It is only 85 km away from Beirut International Airport. The venue is a total of 20,000 m2 of enclosed, fully air-conditioned exhibition center, which can be partitioned to accommodate the various needs of international, regional and local exhibitors. There is also 40,000 m2 of open space adjacent to this hall which can be used as an open-air exhibition surrounded with lush and colorful gardens, a big conference hall and restaurant services and Parking space that can accommodate 3000 cars and shuttle service. Insurance
It is the EXHIBITOR'S RESPONSIBILITY to insure that their exhibits are covered by adequate insurance cover for the shipment + duration, re-packing and re-exporting from the exhibition.
Security
24-hour security is provided by the organizers during the show. However, exhibitors are advised to take adequate precautions and insure that all articles and valuable items are insured. The organizers will not be responsible for the safety of articles of any kind brought into the exhibition hall by the exhibitors, their staff or any person whatsoever.
Stand Personnel
Multilingual temporary staff are available, please contact the organizers.
Exhibitors' Passes
Exhibitors and their staff will be issued passes which must be worn at all times, during before and after the exhibition.
Exhibition Catalogue
The exhibition catalogue will be printed in English and Arabic and will contain general exhibition information, a layout plan of the stands, an entry of 50 words from each exhibitor, a product index, exhibitor's contact information and advertisements. Exhibitor's attention is drawn to the advantages to be gained from advertising in the catalogue, which will be retained by visitors and used as a source of reference.

Official Logistics Partner

Beirut Cargo Center- BCC is the official logistics partner which takes care of the cargo of the exhibitors. For the inbound action, BCC takes care of customs clearance, handling, delivery, and positioning on the stand. For the outbound action, it takes care of collecting the goods from the stand, delivery to the airport or seaport, arranging the export formalities and shipping the goods back to its final origin.

Restaurant
Fast food and beverage services are available at the cafeteria located inside the exhibition area.

Forum within the Fair
A forum will be organized during the Fair where trade visitors and business buyers will be meeting the exhibitors to augment trade relationships.

Visitor Registration
Trade visitors will fill a registration ticket before entering the hall. A pre-registration system has been developed by Prospower and is designed to facilitate easy registration of trade visitors, allowing them immediate entry to the exhibition ground.
A comprehensive show catalogue is available at the registration counters, containing a general floor plan with exhibitor's stand numbers, country and product indexes, complete exihibitor information, and promotional advertisements for exhibitors. Show catalogues are distributed free of charge to all trade visitors.

Transportation
Taxi services are available to and from the venue as well as Car Rental companies who provide self-driven cars or cars with a chauffeur.

Credit Cards
All major credit cards are accepted in most establishments: Master Card, Visa, American Express.

Currency
Foreign currency can be exchanged at any bank or at your hotel. Visitors may also pay with USD. The monetary unit is the Lebanese Pound (LB), and the average exchange rate is 1US$ =1500 LB.

Travel & Visa
Air Travel: Beirut is well connected with all major cities of the world thanks to a wide selection of air lines serving Beirut's International Airport.

Exhibitors should apply for their Visa at the Lebanese Embassy in their country at least 3 Weeks prior to traveling , as a Visit/Business Visa process takes 15-20 working days Important: By resolution of the Arab League, entry to Lebanon will be denied to any holder of a passport containing an Israeli stamp. The Organizers cannot be held responsible for any Exhibitor who fails to obtain his/her Visa in time for the show. Health Although vaccinations are not mandatory, it is recommended for the exhibitors to be inoculated against typhoid, cholera and tetanus.

Accommodation & Bus Service
Exhibitors who wish to be accommodated in Tripoli and be close to the venue in Tripoli, an agreement has been made with Quality Inn Hotel to be the official hotel of the Fair and which is located in the premises of the Rachid Karami International Fairgrounds in Tripoli, Lebanon.
A courtesy bus service will operate between the official hotel of the Fair and the exhibition center.
Passport & Visa Requirements
All visitors to Lebanon need a valid Entry Visa, which can either be obtained at the Beirut Airport or through your local Lebanese Embassies. In countries with no Lebanese diplomatic representation, Exhibitors should contact our Official Travel Agent.
